Thank you for your interest in John Randolph Foundation’s scholarship programs. We are pleased to offer over 95 scholarship opportunities for students residing in Hopewell, Prince George, Enon, Chester, Petersburg, Colonial Heights, Dinwiddie, Sussex, Surry, Charles City and Varina.
Each scholarship was established by a generous individual, family, or organization with a desire to assist high school students, recent high school graduates, and adult learners to continue their education.
We award more than $247,000 in scholarships annually to local students pursuing higher education degrees.
Eligibility and application materials vary by scholarship. Carefully review each scholarship you are matched with to ensure you are eligible before applying.

Scholarship Timeline
| September 15, 2026 | Applications open |
| February 15, 2027 @ Midnight | Deadline to submit applications and supporting materials |
| Mid-May 2027 | Applicants notified by mail or email about the status of their application(s) |
| June 30, 2027 | Recipients must sign and complete the electronic form(s) assigned |
| Mid-July 2027 | Scholarship money is sent directly to the recipient’s college. |
I am incredibly grateful for the support the John Randolph Foundation has provided through the Ryan Scott Williamson Memorial Scholarship. The foundation’s generosity has made a meaningful difference in my education and continues to motivate me to work hard and stay focused on my goals.
