We believe youth development is crucial to the health of the communities we serve. Through our Grant Program, we invest in activities for youth from cradle to career (ages 0 to 25) in the Tri-Cities area to help them to be socially, morally, emotionally, physically and cognitively competent citizens. Through our Scholarship Program, we help local youth pursue their dreams.
In 2015, we created a Youth Master Plan with a shared vision for success and the strategies we will take to get there. The plan was guided by an ad hoc Youth Development Steering Committee made up of community leaders and professionals, the Youth Advisory Council comprised of high school and middle school students, and a survey of approximately 2,000 parents, teachers, professionals, and youth themselves to determine the community’s needs.
