Smart Beginnings Southeast serves the region’s childcare providers, children and their families preparing young children for kindergarten—ready to learn! Through training, mentoring, systems building, and technical assistance, Smart Beginnings Southeast leads the early childhood system to a higher level of quality.
John Randolph Foundation’s relationship with Smart Beginnings Southeast began in 2011. Since then, $355,000 has been awarded to support the Quality Early Childhood Care and Education for Young Children programs to ensure that children are prepared for school—emotionally, cognitively, socially and physically. JRF also supports the Child Development Associate (CDA) certification process, parent education and family childcare provider training, believing that better training for childcare providers means more children have quality educators from the very beginning.
Smart Beginnings lead to limitless life journeys!
