Active in the Richmond area since 1962, Brothers Big Sisters Services, Inc. has helped children reach their potential by creating and professionally supporting one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. Big Brothers Big Sisters has matched more than 300 children (Littles) in the Tri-cities area with caring, consistent adult mentors (Bigs). They meet weekly and work toward goals that help Littles build social skills, increase academic achievement, and create healthy lifestyles.

Since 2002, John Randolph Foundation has provided more than $227,000 in grant support and local office space to Big Brothers Big Sisters, helping to increase graduation rates, improve literacy rates, and connect children to their families and communities.
