Hopewell/Prince George Healthy Families

Hopewell/Prince George Families has been helping families since 1991. The organization works to ensure that children are born healthy, reach school age ready to learn, and grow up to be healthy, contributing members of their communities. Assessment and referral services are offered to all Hopewell and Prince George families. Intensive home-based family support services are offered to high-risk parents prenatally or at birth. Home visitation services are free, voluntary, and available for up to five years after the birth of a child to meet developmental milestones.

Since 1998, Hopewell/Prince George Healthy Families has received $983,300 in grant funding from JRF. The organization received Disaster Response funding during COVID-19, allowing emergency relief to families in Hopewell, Prince George, Petersburg and Dinwiddie.
